I love Philip Sherrard’s writing, though, and have two of his broadsheet books on my shelf (the one on <i>Byzantium</i> and the one on <i>Athos</i>). His approach is very similar to Hossein Nasr's, so much so that I thought Hossein Nasr had carried it from Sherrard (this appears to not be the case).
