Saudi bombs strike Yemeni school, killing 14

US-backed Saudi-led coalition air raids on San‘â’ have left fourteen people dead and more than ninety injured over the last 24 hours, including a number of students at a girls’ school there, in the latest offensive that violates the Stockholm Agreement. More on the story here and here.

Yâ Rabbu irham, Yâ Rabbu irham, Yâ Rabbu irham. May Almighty God welcome the innocent fallen to Him, and may He have mercy upon their families.

Congress has made its move, indeed at last a strong step in the right direction, though nowhere near enough. Now it is up to you, Mr President, to choose. Will you stand with these fourteen children and their families, these innocent victims of a Saudi strike? Will you stand with the innocent Christ, the suffering Christ, crucified by the powers of this world, the one who welcomed all children to Him? Or will you side with their killers, with Pilate, with Herod and the Sanhedrin? Make no mistake; this is the choice, not only before the President, but before each and every single one of us in whose name this is done.

EDIT (16 April 2019): Trump has made his choice. He chose poorly.
